Using traditional and non-traditional instruments, her ensemble of musicians combine their influences to present original interpretations of this music. In a spirit of exploration, Monika strives to create understanding through an appreciation of the beauty of Persian culture.

Hosted by the BYU Ballard Center on 23 March 2017, the event aspires to be a meeting of the minds where attendees will leave empowered to see the possibilities right before their eyes. TEDxBYU shares ideas from a broad spectrum--from science to business to global issues. 

 

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks videos and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)
