Canyon Glen pavilion #1 Park Pavilions The 2017 Park Pavilion reservation season is open, the reservation season will be April 15 - October 15.

You will need to create an account with a valid e-mail address in order to make a reservation. For assistance please call 311 or (801) 852-6000.

Pavilion fees range from $25 - $85 for EACH time period, depending on pavilion size and location. Available time periods are 8:30AM - 2:30PM and 3:30PM - 9:30PM, Mon-Sat.

Please note:

Reservations are taken for holidays and observed holidays, but at twice the normal rate.

A seven day minimum notice is required for pavilion reservations and cancellations. Unreserved pavilions are available, without charge, on a first-come basis. 


Roasting marshmallows Fire RestrictionWood fires and briquettes are allowed only in designated fire pits or grills. Please do not dispose of briquettes in trash receptacles. Please make sure that all fires are completely extinguished before leaving the park.

SEVEN DAYS ADVANCE NOTICE IS REQUIRED FOR ALL RESERVATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS. For more information concerning parks rules and regulations please click here.

Please Note: Electricity provided at the pavilions is on one 15-amp circuit and is only capable of running one small radio or a slow cooker. If you need additional power, you will need to provide own power source. Broken circuits are not accessible and will not be flipped back on. Slack lining, Slip and Slides, and other large water features are not authorized in city parks. Groups with a large amount of people and/or multiple inflatables etc. may be subject to a $200 park use fee and a Community Event Permit to be completed. Weddings and Receptions will require a $200 wedding fee to be paid.

Tennis court rentals are $10/hr per court. Most fields are $30/hr per field for adult groups, and $20/hr per field for youth groups. Most reservations require at least a week notice. Contact Penn Almoney for specifics or to make a reservation.
Wedding table setup Special EventsSome events will require a Community Event Permit application to be completed. These activities include, but are not limited to, groups that are larger than the pavilion will accommodate, groups of 300 or more, weddings, slacklining, concerts, 5K's, walk/runs/biking, setting up large tents and other items that may require an approval process.

Weddings- Some weddings and wedding receptions may be required to complete a Community Event Permit and all weddings and receptions are subject to a $200 wedding use fee regardless of the time of year.  

Please review the Community Event Permit information or contact 311 Customer Service, or the Parks Division Office at (801) 852-6606, to see if your event falls under these guidelines.

The Community Event Permit application needs to be submitted NO LATER THAN TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE EVENT; some events will require more time. Events may be required to submit proof of liability insurance before approval will be granted.

Email or fax insurance certificate to the Parks Division office at (801) 852-7605.
Please include the following information when submitting insurance certificate:

  • the park name
  • pavilion reserved and map of placement of toy
  • the name of the event
  • who reserved the pavilion
  • and the time period and date of reservation

    Bounce houses, inflatable toys and bubble soccer are allowed with pavilion reservations only
    . Insurance covering Provo City MUST be provided NO LATER THAN SEVEN DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT. If insurance is not provided, the inflatable bounce house/toy will not be allowed to be set up in the park.

    Slip and Slides and large water features are not allowed at city parks. 

    Electrical service at the park will not support the electrical draw of the inflatable toy or bounce house; you must provide your own power.

    If the inflatable rental agency does not provide insurance, insurance may be purchased at Provo City through the T.U.L.I.P. insurance program.

    Museum Hours
    Open first Wednesday in April to last Wednesday in October. During the open season the museum hours are:
    • Wed: 1PM - 4PM
    • Fri - Sat: 1PM - 4PM
    The library is open the same hours on the last two Wednesdays of Apr, May, Sep, Oct. During Jun - Aug the library is open every Wednesday 1PM - 4PM.
