Come and elevate your typical summer day camp experience. Each week we go swimming at the Provo Recreation Center, take multiple field trips, and participate in a variety of hands-on activities associated with the week’s theme. Every participant will receive a camp T-shirt and have opportunities to earn other rewards based on positive behavior and engagement. Our friendly and passionate camp counselors are trained not only to give your kids an awesome and unforgettable experience through play, but to teach them how to develop a love of learning, build greater confidence in their abilities and ask questions. These adaptive sessions of camp are specifically designed and staffed for children with special needs. The staff to child ratio is organized in advance and is based on the needs assessment you fill out prior to camp so your little one can safely participate in all the same activities as the general summer camp. We offer multiple activities and outings for inclusion with the general summer camp program, however this camp will target the development of specific social skills such as recognizing and managing emotions, establishing positive relationships and making responsible decisions. We’ll take your little one(s) to unique destinations to experience something for the very first time! Let’s make this summer one to remember!
Registration opens March 21.
