The
compost yard is now open Monday-Friday from 8-6 p.m. Yard waste pickup starts March 1, and Spring Cleanup starts March 22.
Spring Cleanup
Get rid of your unwanted "stuff" during Spring Cleanup 2010. There will be dumpsters for trash, yard waste and metals at North Park, 430 W. 500 N., March 22-May 1, Monday-Saturday (until 3 p.m. on Saturday).
Also look for the free pass to the Solid Waste Transfer Station in the February 2010 newsletter.
Yard Waste Collection
Turn your organic yard waste into plant nourishing compost. Sign up for the green can yard waste collection by calling 801-852-6714. Green cans are picked up once a week from March 1-December 2. No trash is allowed in the green cans.
Compost Yard
Buy compost (soil enhancer) and mulch (wood chips) from the compost yard in Provo at 1625 Industrial Parkway (approximately 700 East), starting March 1, Monday-Friday, from 8-6 p.m. For more information call 801-489-3027.
