Note: The Provo City Community Development Department strives to ensure that your project is considered as soon as it is ready for Planning Commission review. Only complete applications may be processed and reviewed by staff.
A Pre-Development Conference with Planning staff may help to address preliminary concerns with your proposal during the development of your plans. An Application Conference is required to submit an application; review of the application check-list will require approximately 15 minutes. This will be time well spent to ensure that your project can receive the most time-efficient review. Thank you for your cooperation. The Municipal Council sets their own agenda for all applications requiring action by them.
Report availability via the web:
Agendas: Approximately two weeks before the meeting date.
Staff Reports: Approximately two days before the meeting date.
Reports of Action: Posted on the agenda approximately two weeks after the meeting date. Contact Community Development staff for more information.
Note: Reports and Agendas may be available a day or two before the times noted above if you stop by our office. Also, the online staff reports may not contain all report materials (e.g. maps, plats, associated reports, etc). Call the number below for more information. Factors that affect scheduling a project for a public meeting agenda include completeness of information submitted, complexity of the request, conformance of proposal and project plans with City ordinances, plans and standards, applicant's response time to comments, additional review time required for corrected plans, and noticing requirements.
