Yard Waste Recycling Program


To participate in curbside yard waste recycling (green can), please call 801-852-6714.
  • Weekly pickup March 1 - December 2, 2010
  • Only $5 per month - added to utility bill (for discount see Triple Play Program)
  • $6 savings per month compared to using an additional black can
  • Keeps yard waste out of landfill
  • Saves $29 per ton tipping fees at transfer station
  • Yard waste is recycled into compost
 
Provo City looks forward to a great and successful yard waste recycling season. We appreciate your help and cooperation in keeping trash out of the yard waste cans. It can cost at least $500 in tipping fees and landfill costs if a load is contaminated with trash. If trash is found in a yard waste can, a $15 fee will be assessed to have the can dumped.
 

Provo's Recycling Program

Provo City offers a "Triple Play Program" to encourage recycling. This program includes yard waste recycling as well as recycling of plastics, papers and metals.
