brochure. (pdf)
Everyone wins when employees live close to their workplace. Less time commuting means employees can spend more time with their families and enjoying the community. Employers have reduced turnover costs, increased productivity and morale. Communities benefit with healthier, safer and more attractive neighborhoods. Shorter commutes reduce congestion and pollution which means less stress on the local infrastructure.

What is LIVE • WORK • PLAY?

Live-Work-Play an initiative to promote home ownership in the downtown Pioneer Neighborhoods for employees of downtown businesses. Participating employers partner with the Provo City Redevelopment Agency and local non-profits to provide information to employees about housing incentive programs to live and play where they work.

LIVE • WORK

Down-payment assistance for qualified employees of Provo’s downtown businesses to live near where they work.

PLAY

Attractive downtown amenities: Restaurants, Covey Center for the Arts, Downtown Farmers Market, Art Galleries, and more.

We spend less on gas by living within easy walking and biking distance to work, schools, shopping, restaurants, parks, river trail, library, post office, cultural events, government buildings and medical just to name a few of the plethora of amenities within a two mile range of our house. Our one car is rarely used.

Scott Bingham, Timp Neighborhood

We enjoy living in the downtown Provo area for many reasons. My husband and I really like older homes. We also like living close enough to walk to the post office, grocery store, our bank, as well as B.Y.U. My husband works at B.Y.U. and he really wanted to live close enough to be able to walk there.
