NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE DESIGN REVIEW COMMITTEE
The Provo City Design Review Committee will hold a public hearing on Thursday, June 11, 2015, at 12:30 p.m., in the Community Development Conference Room at the Provo City Center, located at 330 West 100 South. The following items below will be discussed, and anyone interested is invited to attend and provide comment. Preceding the public hearing, a briefing will be held at 12:00 p.m. The briefing is open to the public; however, formal presentation of items, public comment, and actions will be reserved for the public hearing at 12:30 p.m.
ITEM 1 Travis Taylor, agent for Neighborworks Provo, requests Design Review Approval for a 62-unit multi-family residential project on approximately 2 acres, generally located at 510 South 400 West, in the Interim Transit-Oriented Development (ITOD) zone. ITEM 2 Provo City’s Energy Department requests final Design Review approval, to rebuild the Energy Department campus with a new 51, 890 square foot office building that includes truck and service bays, a new storage/work yard, new parking lot, and new decorative perimeter wall. The small pocket park amenity, on the west side of the campus, will also be expanded. The project area comprises 9.76 acres overall, and is located at 251 West 800 North, in the Public Facilities (PF) Zone. North Park Neighborhood, 15-0017PPA, Sean Allen, 801-852-6407

The Design Review Committee is a sub-committee of the Planning Commission which reviews development plans to insure quality architectural design and landscaping, among other duties (see Provo City Code 14.04A).

The Design Review Committee meets twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month. Meetings may be canceled due to lack of items needing to be heard. The meetings begin at 12:30PM with a pre-meeting beginning at 12:00PM, Click on the meeting in the calendar below to view the Agenda and Reports of Action.
Agendas are posted approximately three days before the meeting. There are no Staff Reports for these items. Reports of Action (minutes) are posted approximately one week after the meeting.
