Rental Dwelling Licensing
Who Needs a License:
- Anyone owning, operating, or maintaining a rental dwelling in Provo.
- Short-term rentals (Airbnb, VRBO) need a commercial business license
New Applications:
- Apply online.
- Provide proof of ownership, ID, and details.
- Fees: $20 for one unit, $60 for multiple units or duplexes.
Adding Properties:
- Follow the same process as new applicants.
- Fee: varies depending on number of properties
Changing License Name:
- Notify us in writing explaining the change.
- Include ID and LLC/DBA proof.
- Fee: $10
