Obituary for Colleen Dalley Fuller

1929 - 2014

Colleen Dalley Fuller passed away May 6, 2014 in Provo, Utah at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Facility from kidney failure. She was born on November 17, 1929 in Alta, Wyoming to Oscar Milton Dalley and Hazel Leona Curtis. She was the third of five children. At age five, her family moved to Riverton, Wyoming where she attended school, graduating from Riverton High School in 1947. In 1948, she married Ivan L. Fuller and was later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. While living in the Riverton area, Ivan and Colleen welcomed three children, Ronald, Howard, and Barbara.

In 1971, the family moved to Utah. Colleen lived at her home in Provo for 41 years where she was active in the LDS church and worked for a number of years in the Medical Records Department at Utah Valley Hospital. During this time, Ivan and Colleen bought and developed mountain property in Argyle Canyon, Utah where she spent many happy days with their extended family.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers, Bob Dalley and Lester Dalley; and sister, Deaun Shelly. She is survived by her brother, James (Joanne) Dalley; sister-in-law, Doris Novotny; children, Ronald (Joyce), Howard (Faye), Barbara Poulson (Mike); 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren (plus a great-grandson on the way).

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the Grandview 15th Ward Chapel, 1122 North Grand Avenue, Provo, Utah. Friends may call at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center Street, Friday from 6-8:00 p.m. and at the church Saturday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Provo City Cemetery.
