FAQ'S
What do I need to do to get special pricing at Timpanogos Golf Club?
A membership card for each member of your party is required to check in at the front desk. Recreation Center policies regarding check-in will be in effect - 3 times without card before a patron must purchase a new card. After scanning, the Pro Shop staff will be able to guide you through the rest of the process.
Can I use my membership discount for other people in my group?
No. Discounts are intended for the Recreation Center Member only. Patrons found to be sharing benefits with others (i.e. purchasing a bucket of balls for someone else’s use) will result in forfeiture of membership.
Does this get me access to the 18-hole Championship Course at Timpanogos Golf Club?
No. Access to the 18-Hole Championship Course, cart rental, pro shop, concessions items, and other Timpanogos Golf Club fees are not altered by the Triple Play Access. All benefits you receive are listed above.
Can I or should I book a tee time for "The Pasture" Par 3 Course?
Yes! Reserving a tee time is highly encouraged. Visit timpanogosgolf.com to reserve a tee time for The Pasture. Make sure to click on The Pasture and not on the 18-Hole Championship Course to avoid confusion. You will receive a confirmation email when you have reserved your time. Check-in at the pro shop with the name you put on the reservation and the staff there will be able to guide you through the rest of the process.
Is there an age limit for participation?
Yes. See above for details for restrictions on ages.
Do I need to bring my own equipment to these facilities to enjoy the amenities?
Yes, you can either bring your own or they can be rented in the Pro Shop. Clubs are not provided for. Sets of clubs can be rented for use on The Pasture in the Pro Shop. Supplies are limited.
Why fight the crowds at a pool when you can cool off with an afternoon of open public skating? Looking for a fun family activity or inexpensive, exciting date night? With the Triple Play Access as part of the Provo Recreation Center Membership, you’ll get free ice skating during any qualifying Public Skate hours (see Peaks front desk for details and restrictions on special open skate times like College Night, Tall and Small, and more that are designed for specific age groups and users).
Are you ready to take your functional fitness to the next level? The Recreation Center fitness team has radically redesigned the ‘small turf’ field at the Peaks Ice Arena to bring you a next-level functional fitness environment. Included in the cost of your Recreation Center Membership, you’ll have access to 7,000 square feet of Olympic lifting equipment and functional space. The area features an astounding 8 racks, deadlift platforms, TRX and ring equipment, functional equipment machines, battle ropes, dumbbells, kettleballs, a 20ftx100ft turf sprint track with sleds and tires, and more. We offer 17 classes per week with focuses ranging from Olympic lifting, Powerlifting, full-body resistance training, HIIT & Mobility, Injury Rehab & Prevention, and our popular Fieldhouse Fitness Format. The Fieldhouse offers open gym use throughout the entire day, including during class times.
Looking for a late night workout? The Peaks stays open later than the Recreation Center (seasonally) and will allow patrons to work out between 10PM-12AM; see the Mindbody App or Peaks Ice Arena website for specifics.
Finally, we’re excited to add additional programming for our guests seeking a more custom workout experience. Personal training, small group training, and team training will be available (for additional fees) at the Fieldhouse location.

FAQ'S
What do I need to do to get special pricing at the Peaks Ice Arena?
Bring your membership card for each member of your party to the front desk. Recreation Center policies regarding check-in (3 times without card before a patron has to purchase a new card) will be in effect. After scanning, the staff at each location will be able to guide you through the rest of the process.
Do I need to bring my own equipment to these facilities to enjoy the amenities?
Ice skates may be rented for an additional fee at the Peaks Ice Arena.
Can I use my membership discount for other people in my group?
No. Discounts are intended for the Recreation Center Member only. Patrons found to be sharing benefits with others (ie purchasing a bucket of balls for someone else’s use) will result in forfeiture of membership.
Where can I find the hours for Public Skate for the Peaks Ice Arena?
The Peaks Ice Arena posts daily Public Skate hours on their website and Facebook page. Please note that various times offer specific types of public skate hours. While your Recreation Center Membership gets you access to all Public Skate times (figure skate and hockey times are excluded from ‘public skate’ times), certain age restrictions may be in effect. Please consult a Peaks Ice Arena staff for details.
What kind of classes can I take as part of the Fieldhouse Fitness functional space?
The space will offer a variety of functional fitness formats, including TRX, SAQ (speed agility quickness), weight lifting, mobility work, HIIT (high intensity interval training), and more. These classes are different than traditional group exercise classes that have an instructor at the front of the room, exercising with the members. Instead, a personal trainer will lead the class, typically in stations of small groups, where the guests will complete a circuit, a particular lift, or exercise at their own speed. When moving through Olympic lifts, for example, participants will focus on form, move slowly, complete a full rest, etc. On the turf sprint lanes, they’d then perform more of a HIIT or SAQ sequence. These classes provide a unique coaching experience that will help you get to the next level. See Mindbody app for specific classes.
The focus of the new Triple Play Access for members is definitely on the exciting new amenities available at the Peaks Ice Arena and Timpanogos Golf Club. However, we’re excited to announce a few changes here at the Recreation Center facility as well, available to both members and day pass guests.
3 new sets of indoor pickleball court lines were added to the Thunderbird court in August 2018. While no additional evening hours are planned, up to six courts will be available in the morning and early afternoon hours.
We recently completed an overhaul of the WiFi at the facility. Now six times as many devices can be connected simultaneously while enjoying 4x speed. The managed network also allows the facility to prohibit a few users from hogging all the bandwidth and ruining it for the rest of the guests.
