We accept new passport applications (DS-11) Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. No appointment needed!

Here's what you need to know:

• Application Information: Find everything you need to complete your application form (DS-11) on the U.S. Department of State website: Travel.state.gov
• Fees: There are two separate fees:
  • U.S. Department of State Fee: This fee is sent with your application and can be paid by check, money order, or cashier's check. See the full fee chart on Travel.state.gov.
  • Provo City Acceptance Fee: $35. We accept cash, check, money order, debit, or credit card.
• Processing Time: Allow 8-11 weeks for routine processing. Expedited service (5-7 weeks) is available for an additional $60.
• Passport Photos: Get your passport photos taken here for $15.

Passport Renewals: We cannot process renewals (DS-82) at Provo City. Renewals are done by mail. We can help you review your completed application before you mail it.

• For minors (15 and under): Social Security card and picture ID (school ID, etc.) with a parent if prints are for employment.

  • There's no charge for criminal prints.
• Important: We do not process fingerprints for Utah County.
