Obituary for Joseph Keith Scott
1937 - 2014
Joseph Keith Scott, of Provo, UT, passed away Friday, May 10, 2014. He was born August 20, 1937 to Alice Shaw and Lamar Scott in Lake View, Utah. He married Mary Ellen Penrod on May 2, 1958.
Keith retired after 29 years with the Utah National Guard, also at Novell as the Health and Safety Supervisor. He was the Exalted Ruler of the Provo Elks Lodge in 1985.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen; children: Kenneth (Kimberly) of St. George, UT, Arthur of Payson, UT, Mary Anne (Kelly) Smith of Orem, UT, Dennis of Pleasant Grove, UT and Patrick (Holly) of Provo, UT; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, JoEllen.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at the Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State Street, Provo, Utah.
