Tyson Bruce Snow

1977 - 2014

Tyson Bruce Snow, son of Bruce and Cindy Snow, passed away on September 29, 2014. He was 36.

Tyson was the second of four children. He graduated from Timpview High School in 1996. He served a mission in Nagoya, Japan, after being in Korea with his family from 1989-1992 while his father served as the Korea Seoul West mission president. Tyson graduated from the BYU Broadcast Journalism program with a desire to own a short bus. He received his Juris Doctorate from BYU Law School and married Sara Anderson, who he met at law school, in the Bountiful Temple.

Tyson loved his work and was known as the social media lawyer in Utah. He worked at Manning Curtis Bradshaw and Bednar, was a founding partner of Mumford Rawson LLC, and also worked at PADRM. His legal skills came with a bonus – he was often called day and night to fix I.T. problems.

He is survived by his parents, sister Melissa (John Prince), brother Brant (Jordann), and sister Jessica (Pat Moody), five nephews and two nieces, and Flurry and Frost.

Tyson loved attending BYU sports events, reading, hiking, biking, bowling, modifying cars, and anything to do with computers and the internet. He cherished his callings and experiences with the Young Men in his ward. He was active in the law society and spoke at conferences around the United States. Tyson suffered from seizures, loved Skittles, was fiery on Cougarboard, and ruled at March Madness bracketology.

He will be deeply missed by his family and his multitude of friends.

Services will be Friday, October 3rd, 2014, 10:30 am, at the Edgemont 14th Ward Chapel, 3725 N. 970 E., Provo, Utah. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Interment will be in the Provo City Cemetery.
