1942 - 2014
Claudia Sue Flaker, 72 of Payson UT was called home and wrapped in the unconditional love of Jesus and her family November 15, 2014.
Born to Ralph and Lillian Anita Amy in Los Angels Ca. Claudia was the first born of 4 kids and the last to return home to her family after burying her younger brother just one week ago.
Claudia will always be remembered for her love, compassion, stubbornness, perfectionism, hard work, hilarious stories and beautiful gardens. Her home at Christmas was always magical with homemade painted ornaments and every gift purchased and wrapped with thought and love. Claudia had a gift of taking something old and worn and turning it into something beautiful and warm. She could make you laugh out loud with her stories, and feel her deep love with the thought and time she would spend finding you the perfect gift. She couldn't bear the thought of anyone suffering. She passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones telling each one she loved them.
Claudia is survived in death by her husband of 47 years, Gene Flaker. Her children, Duane Orzol, Tammy Orzol, Elizabeth Van Cleve, Jonathan Flaker and Sherry Flaker. Claudia was blessed and survived by 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at the Clarion Reception Hall, 463 E 100 N Payson with a viewing prior from 11am-Noon. A graveside dedication will follow at the Provo City Cemetery.
