Carterville Neighborhood Meeting

  • Date: 10/11/2018 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Neighbors,

We'll be having a neighborhood meeting on October 11th at 7pm.  Meet at the top of the east city center police entrance stairs.  Officer Soule will let us in and guide us to the conference room.

Please be prompt.  We would like to start and end on time.

The Agenda is as follows:

7-7:15  Lowell (our vice chair) will lead the discussion on the parking permit program requested by the neighbors across from the hospital.

7:15-7:45  We'll be meeting with officer Soule who is the senior officer assigned to our neighborhood.  He'd like to discuss with us how he can help us solve some of the issues facing our neighborhood.  I met with him last week, and he is going to be a fantastic resource for us!  If you have issues pertaining to police enforcement (not zoning issues like bad landlords), please be prepared with details about your issues and your suggestions for solving them.  Officer Soule will be presenting most of this time, but I'll be carefully collecting the information from all the neighbors so that we can narrow in on our highest needs.

7:45-8  Our meeting officially ends at 7:45, but if you would like the chance to briefly discuss the bond with fellow neighbors, you may stay just a few minutes to do this.  I can answer questions as well.

Please RSVP and let me know you're coming and if you have anything I should know about before the meeting.  Also, please please forward this to any of your neighbors you think might not be on this list.  We're still trying to build our email list so that we can keep everyone informed.   A neighborhood united has a powerful voice in city matters.

Thank you!
