Nancy Jean McNeill Radle
1944 - 2018
On October 30, 2018, Nancy Radle left us. Born on April 11, 1944 in Rockville, Connecticut, where she grew up and met her husband Robert while she was in nursing school. They married October 1965. While living in Connecticut, Nancy had two sons, Rob and Steve, while working as a Registered Nurse. They were true lifelong partners, always laughing together, traveling together, and weathering storms together.
Bob and Nancy moved their family to California in 1975, where Nancy continued her nursing career. In 1977 she was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, along with her husband and children. She was a faithful member through her life. In California, she enjoyed taking her family to the beach every week in the summer and visiting her parents in nearby San Diego.
In 1981, the family moved again to Utah, where they would spend the rest of their lives. In Utah, Nancy furthered her education, specializing in cardiology, and receiving her master’s degree in nursing from BYU in 1992. She spent the rest of her career as a nurse practitioner. Nancy’s sharp mind, vast experience and deep compassion made her perfectly suited to improve the lives of her patients. She had the unique ability to make each individual feel as if they were the only concern in the entire world to her.
Nancy was adored by her two sons, and by her grandchildren. She had a love of music, and her sons grew up laying under her grand piano, listening to her play and singing her favorite songs and hymns. She was a special grandmother and her grandchildren always loved spending time with G-Ma, and her bright smile and boundless energy. There was always a support for them and there was nothing she wouldn’t do for them. Her friends and neighbors will miss her spunky, sassy attitude.
She is preceded in death by her parents Blake and Margaret, husband Robert, son Robert Jr., and granddaughter Courtney. She is survived by her son Steven (Bronwyn), daughter-in-law Julie. 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, November 2, 2018, 11:00 a.m., Edgemont 14th Ward, 4200 North Foothill Drive, Provo. Family and friends may visit that morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State Street, Provo. Condolences may be offered to the family online at www.walkersanderson.com.
