Bruce Mark Draper
1955 - 2019
Bruce Mark Draper, 64, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2019 at the Provo Hospital.
Bruce was born in Provo, Utah, the son of Frederick Mark Draper and Elsie Virginia Goode. He was an auto mechanic until the age of 60, when he retired his tools and became a stay-at-home Papa to his beautiful “adopted” daughter, Peyton.
Bruce had a genuine appreciation for the outdoors. He loved fishing, hunting, shed hunting, camping, throwing horseshoes, going to yard sales, and taking long drives to explore the mountains in his Chevy Blazers. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, loyal friend, and diligent worker.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Sonia; his children, Matthew, Nicholas, Jennifer, and Peyton; three grandchildren, Makinna (Matt), Jamie (Matt), and Hartlee (Jen). With his marriage to Sonia, Bruce gained five children, 15 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 22, 2019 at the Berg Drawing Room Chapel, 185 East Center Street, Provo, Utah. Friends may call from 9:30-10:50 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Provo City Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed atwww.bergmortuary.com.
