Curtis Robert Irwin

Curtis Robert Irwin, October 18, 1932 --- April 1, 2019 passed away peacefully in Provo, Utah.
He was born in Long Beach, California. His parents were Everett Harold and Lydia Hazel Irwin of Santa Ana, California.
“Curt” is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann Clawson Irwin, two daughters, Sandra Lynn & (Clark) Swanson of South Jordan, Utah; and, Candice Lee & (Steve) Sanders of Mt. Pleasant, Utah; Granddaughters, Elizabeth Ann Swanson; Amber LeeAnn Call; Carlee Rose Christensen; Alyssa August Berry; Grandsons, Cody Steven Sanders and Austin Curtis Sanders; and 6 great grandchildren.
Curt worked 14 years for Southern California Edison Company in Santa Ana, California; and, 17 years for Pacific Bell Telephone in Auburn, California.
Curt was an active member of the LDS Church and sealed in the Los Angeles Temple to Shirley on April 10, 1970. He held degrees in Agriculture and Accounting. He was a volunteer for the California Highway Patrol for 7 years. Curt loved all animals, sports, especially his Southern California University football team, and, the Utah Jazz. He loved fishing and boating and he was a great story teller. He enjoyed playing games with friends and telling a good joke. He was a friend to everyone, kind and gentle. He loved spending time with family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 8th at 11:00 am at the Suncrest 6th Ward, 891 West 130 North, Orem, Utah, where a Viewing will be held prior to services from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Interment in Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State Street, Provo, Utah.
