Kenneth LeRoy Leetham
1939 - 2019
Kenneth LeRoy Leetham, 80, of Provo Utah, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2019 with his loving wife by his side.
Ken was born in Provo, Utah on May 14, 1939 to Vernon and Margaret Leetham. He graduated from Provo High School and attended 1 year of college at BYU before he enlisted in the Army.
Ken married his sweetheart, Marilyn Holdaway, on June 6, 1962, and they were later sealed in the Provo Temple for time and all eternity.
Ken worked as a superintendent for Provo City Parks and Recreation department for 25 years. Upon retirement he then got a job as a custodian at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Marilyn; son, Mike (Sherry); daughters, Christine and Kimberly (Jason); grandchildren, Cameron (Elese), Brittany (Ryan), Travis, Crystal (Jeff), Amber, Kelsey, Ryan, and Madison; great-grandchildren, Colton, Hunter, Reilly, Dylan, Tressa, Emily, Bailey, Dawson, Gentrie, and Rylan; and great-great-granddaughter, Arya. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Margaret Leetham, and his siblings: brothers, Reed (Valerie) and Darrell (Ann), and sister, LaRae.
Ken had two loves in his life–family and golf. He was an avid golfer for most of his years and enjoyed an early retirement that allowed him to play as much as he could with his buddies. He was a jokester, storyteller, and a people person. If you were friends−you were friends for life. Dad we love you so much and we will miss you.
All our love,
–The Fam
