We'd previously talked about a neighborhood meeting in April, but that's been superseded by the announcement of the BYU Music building. BYU has graciously reached out to Foothills and Wasatch and would like to hold a joint neighborhood meeting that will focus on the new building. They are hoping to get all their permits in place and begin building in mid-April, so the need for a neighborhood meeting has become more urgent.
Between the three neighborhoods, we've settled on 12 March, 6:30pm at the Wasatch School Gym. Sorry to spring this on you but settling the date was rather urgent. The good news is that BYU is providing fliers for each house in the neighborhood (right?) as well as goodies on the night to entice people to come.
This is our chance to address any questions - from parking abatement to traffic and building layout - before the building begins. I've already had a preliminary meeting and I think there is a lot of room (and a lot of need) for comments on the project from our community.
