Perhaps you've wanted to make your own journal, flip book, or bind the novel you've been writing during NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). If that's you, or if you're already a book binding expert, we've got you covered! Together we'll talk about book making, and make our own books!
SUPPLIES
Pamphlet book
-4-6 pieces of paper 5.5x8.5 inches
-1 piece of decorative paper, 5.5x12 inches (can be only 8.5 inches if that's all you have)
-embroidery floss, thick thread, thin ribbon, or something similar
-awl (optional)
Japanese Stab Binding
-10-15 pieces of paper 5.5x8.5 inches
-2 pieces of decorative paper 5.5x8.5 inches
-hole punch
-binder clips, clothes pins, or something similar
-embroidery floss, thick thread, thin ribbon, or something similar
Other supplies
-scissors
-pencil
-scrap paper
-ruler
-needle
This librarian moderated discussion will be offered on Zoom. Register by Wednesday evening, and a link to the meeting along with discussion expectations and procedures will be sent Thursday morning. Later registrants will receive a discussion link just before the program starts.
