Hello neighborhood,
We have a resident who is seeking approval for a mural she wants to paint in our neighborhood. Please join us for a 15-20 minute meeting on Wednesday, May 19 at 6:30 pm. We'll discuss and vote on the proposal to paint a mural on the side of the Slate Canyon Business Park building that faces the walking path between 960 S and 900 S. This wall often gets graffiti spray painted on it, so the resident who's proposing this is trying to deter that and beautify the neighborhood. They have permission from the building owner and need approval from the neighborhood too. They have a youth group and other volunteers willing to do the work. They're trying to get neighborhood approval so they can get a matching grant from Provo City to fund the project.
