Demolition

Any type of demolition requires a demolition permit. The first step in getting this permit is to contact the Utah Division of Air Quality at (801) 536-4000 for an asbestos report. The report must be received before a permit can be issued by the Community Development Department. A site plan must be submitted for residential demolition. Please submit your site plan online when filing for a Building Permit. Other fees may be assessed by various city departments. If power distribution equipment (poles, transformers, etc.) need to be moved, contact Provo Power at (801) 852-6852. Contact Blue Stakes at (801) 662-4111 prior to demolition.
