PROVO CITY COMPOST YARD 

The Provo Compost Yard is open March - November on Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00 AM until 5:00 PM (weather dependent). 

Depending on availability, organic compost will be on hand for purchase to residents at $5 per yard, and to nonresidents at $10 per yard.

Green waste drop-off is available for residents free of charge during City Cleanups, and for a $5 fee per pickup truck or trailer up to 16’ for each drop-off outside of the City Cleanup dates (credit/debit only). An additional charge will apply to larger trailer loads. Drop off of material is limited to Provo residents who will need to come with either their driver license or a copy of a current Provo City utility bill.

 UNACCEPTABLE MATERIALS 

• Lumber or Treated Wood
• Building Materials, including blocks and concrete 
• Rocks, Dirt, Sod, Stumps
• Logs over 10" in diameter (logs over 4" diameter to be cut to 8' lengths)
• Trash 

NO LOADS FROM COMMERCIAL HAULERS OR LANDSCAPERS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
