Regular Voter Registration Deadline: Friday, October 25
Deadline to postmark mail ballots: Monday, November 4
Deadline to hand deliver mail ballots: 8 PM on Election Day
Election Day: Tuesday November 5
Active registered voters will automatically be sent a ballot by mail. Utah County will start mailing out ballots beginning Tuesday, October 15. Visit vote.utah.gov to register to vote, check if you are an active registered voter, or to update your voter information.
Provo has 2 ballot drop boxes.
- Provo Library (550 N University Ave)
- Utah County Administration Building (100 E Center St)
Early and In-Person polling can be done at the Health and Justice building (151 S University Ave)

Voters may register to vote at an early voting location or at a polling location on Election Day. Please bring at least two forms of identification to the polling location. Click on the links below for more information:

When and Where to Vote

The General Election is Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

Active registered voters will receive a ballot in the mail about three weeks before the election. A postage paid envelope is provided for your convenience; however, to save tax payer dollars, Utah County has provided many convenient drop box locations.

If you did not receive your ballot or need a replacement ballot, please call Utah County at 801-851-8128.

Do I have to mail my ballot?

No. If you do not want to mail your ballot using the United States Postal Service, you have other options to turn in your ballot:

Drop your ballot off at a drop box location. Find drop boxes in Utah county.
Drop your ballot off at an early voting location or an Election Day voting location. Find a location near you.

You can return your ballot by mail but it must be postmarked before Election Day. If you prefer to use a secure drop box, your ballot must be dropped off before 8 PM on Election Day.
